Tri Cities Knock Down 17 Three Point Baskets In 99-86 Win Over Mundy's Mill
On Wednesday, the Tri Cities Bulldogs hosted the Mundy's Mill Tigers in region play, as the Bulldogs looked to improve to 3-0 in the region standings. The game would remain close throughout the first quarter as Tri Cities led 21-18 at the end of the opening period, however the story of the game would be the Bulldogs' made three point shots. By the end of the first half, Tri Cities had made 10 baskets from behind the arc and would finish the night with a total of 17 made three points. Davon Cottle, Simeon Cottle, and Jackson Watson accounted for most of the made three points, but a few other players contributed as they Bulldogs went ob to pick up the 99-86 win. Watson would finish with a team high, 25 points for Tri Cities and following the game, assistant coach, Tony Dorsey, who sat in for head coach Omari Forts, said that the way the team "shared the basketball" and "played unselfish" helped with team being able to have a successful perimeter game in the win over Mundy's Mill.
